CHST15

Last Update:2022-08-30

CHST15 encodes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 15. This enzyme is involved in the biosynthesis of highly sulfated chondroitin sulfate; CHST15 has C4S-6ST activity to transfer sulfate to C-6 position using sulfated GalNAc at C-4 position as an acceptor substrate to synthesize CS-E units.
