ST6GAL1

ST6GAL1、あるいはβ-ガラクトシドα-2,6-シアリルトランスフェラーゼ1は、シアリル酸をCMPシアリル酸からアシアロフェチュインやアシアロa1-酸性糖タンパク質などの糖タンパク質上のGalβ1→4GlcNAc構造に転移する。ST6GAL1はST6NやSIAT1とも知られる。ST6GAL1欠損マウスではST6GAL1およびその生産物がBリンパ球活性化の促進に必要であることを示した。
