CSGlcA-T

Last Update:2021-12-17

CSGlcA-T (CHPF2) encodes chondroitin sulfate glucuronyltransferase (chondroitin polymerizing factor 2), which is involved in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate. CSGlcA-T (CHPF2) forms a complex with CHSY1, CHPF, and CHSY3 and is responsible for the elongation reaction of chondroitin chains. In vitro, CSGlcA-T (CHPF2) does not show GalNAc-transferase activity, but only GlcA-transferase activity.
