SLC35A3

Last Update:2017-12-11

SLC35A3 encodes a UDP-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) transporter that is localized in the Golgi membrane. It is also known as UGTREL2. The encoded protein has multiple membrane-spanning regions. UDP-GlcNAc is transported into the Golgi lumen and used as a glycosyl donor for glycan synthesis.
