SLC35B3

Last Update:2017-12-11

SLC35B3 encodes a 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS) transporter that is localized in the Golgi membrane. It is also known as PAPST2. The encoded protein has multiple membrane-spanning regions. PAPS is transported into the Golgi lumen and used as a common sulfate donor. SLC35B3 is predominantly expressed in colon tissues.
