On behalf of the steering committee of the Asian Community of Glycoscience and Glycotechnology (ACGG), it is an honor for me to announce that the ^7th ACGG Conference will be held in Japan this November.

The first ACGG Conference was organized in 2009 by Prof. Narimatsu and was held in Tsukuba, Japan, with the hope that people could start to see "Glycoscience as a model case towards coexistence and coprosperity of Asian countries". Since then, the annual conference has been successfully held in five countries, Taiwan, China, Korea, Thailand and India, and now the ACGG Conference is going to come back to Japan for its 7th edition. The ACGG Conference turned out to be a good platform to share the scientific knowledge among all the Asian countries so that the best results in the field of Glycoscience and Glycotechnology could be achieved. It also allowed scientists from different nations to interact directly with each other and to explore possible future collaborations.

I would like to introduce all of you to the beauty of Matsushima starting with our friendship and scientific achievements.
